The EP-1 Expression Pedal is a proprietary expression pedal designs specifically for Stone Deaf products such as our overdrives, distortion and fuzzes. It uses a custom reverse log taper potentiometer to get the wide frequency sweep that surpasses most Wahs and Expression pedals. It will go past two different resonance points when used with our standard overdrives. It will also work as a rate expression control for the Rise & Shine too. It uses a TRS stereo cable to control the dual log function of the custom pot.
The control knob on the side of the pedal allows you to set the position of the frequency knob like it is on your main unit, for example the PDF-2. It is activated when in bypass and the foot pedal part of the way is deactivated. The knob DOES NOT affect the Q so that will remain where it was set on the pedal.
The EP-1 allows for use as a tonal sweeper, wah and phaser when used with; PDF-2, PDF-1X, Fig Fum, Warp Drive, Trashy Blonde and Kliptonite. It can also control the rate of the tremolo of the Rise and Shine which allows for heel/toe variation.
This product requires a TRS stereo cable to work (not included).
