Red Panda Raster 2 Digital Delay Pedal

The Red Panda Raster 2 arms your pedalboard with up to 1,600ms of stereo delay with tons of tweakable parameters. Parallel, series, and ping-pong configurations are at your feet, along with dedicated left/right controls for ear-grabbing stereo effects. You can milk everything from analog-style echoes to crystal-clear digital repeats out of this delay pedal. You can also pitch shift, detune, and frequency shift your repeats for endless sonic possibilities. The Raster's seven modulation waveforms can be assigned to delay time, pitch shift, or amplitude for a variety of spellbinding sounds. Envelope and reverse envelope parameters are also on tap. The Raster includes four front-panel presets, which are expandible to 127 via MIDI, and you can use a web-based editor for accessing additional parameters and more. The Raster also includes full stereo I/O, tap tempo, a multi-function control port, and full MIDI implementation. If you're a hardcore delay aficionado searching a digital delay pedal with tons of options, you've get your money's worth — and more — out of the Red Panda Raster 2.

Packed to the gills with pro-level features

The Raster contains enough pro-level features to make it a full-fledged digital delay workstation. It all starts with up to 1,600ms of stereo delay, divided into three ranges for maximum precision. The pedal's left and right delay times can be a set ratio, or they can be offset for killer widening effects. Your delay repeats can also be arranged in parallel, series, or in a ping-pong configuration, and most of the Raster's parameters include dedicated left/right controls for mind-bending stereo effects. A tone control unleashes everything from dark, analog-style echoes to crystal-clear digital repeats. You also get four front-panel presets, plus a web-based editor for managing presets and accessing hidden parameters. Full stereo I/O, tap tempo, a multi-function control port, and full MIDI implementation round out the Raster's mind-blowing feature set.

Pitch shifting, detuning, phase shifting, and more
You can pitch shift the pedal's repeats in either direction up to ±12 semitones for tempo-synched arpeggios, or you can use the detune setting for micro-pitch-style chorused repeats. The Raster's left and right channels can be pitch shifted by the same amount, by a ratio, or in opposite directions for an ultra-wide stereo spread. Beyond that, you can combine phase and frequency shifting for evolving repeats, dissonant harmonies, and barber pole flanging. If you push the Raster to the brink, you can attain ring mod-inflected and inharmonic-shifted delays.

Modulation unlocks near-infinite possibilities

The Raster's modulation section goes way beyond mere chorus. For starters, you get seven waveforms that can be assigned to delay time, pitch shift, or amplitude. Two random waveforms give rise to glitchy pitch jumps, wow and flutter, and broken tape-deck sounds. Envelope and reverse envelope parameters enable dynamic flanging and pitch-bent delays. You also get stereo controls for tweaking the pedal's modulation and phase between channels. Whether you want subtle shifts or over-the-top psychedelic washes, the Raster is willing to oblige.
